LVL BEAMS

LVL (Laminated veneer lumber) is an engineered product made from multiple layers of thin laminated timber. The result is a beam that is much stronger than the equivalent section in Pine or Oregon. LVL is often used as an alternative to F17 Hardwood. It is straighter, can span further, and much less likely to twist or bow compared to natural timber.

It is typically used for headers, beams, rimboard, and edge-forming material.
